Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. 

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you should not obtain or use information, services or products from this page. This page exists for the benefit of those individuals interested in products and services of Azzy Events, ABN 18631361615. Azzy Events reserves the right to modify any of the Terms and Conditions at any time.

1. BOND

Azzy Events will hold all bonds until the safe return or pickup of all products in the same condition as were hired out to the client. All bonds will return to the client minus any fee incurred either due to late fee/extension fee and breakage/damage fee.

The amount of bond held will be minimum $100 dry hire.

2. PAYMENT

A non-refundable deposit/booking fee of 50% of your total invoice amount is required to secure a quote and your hire items. This is non-negotiable and ensures the confirmation of your items and our time in preparation. 

Balance is due one week before setup. Cash payments on the day are not accepted.

If your event is expected to be cancelled 48hrs before your event date, a 50% refund of the total amount can be arranged. Cancellations after the 48hr period will not be eligible for a refund.

3. CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations must be in writing. No verbal cancellations shall be accepted, to minimize any misunderstanding.

Should the Client wish to cancel this agreement, the deposit fee of 50 percent is not refundable, if the client has paid in full, and the event has been cancelled 4 weeks in advance or greater, Azzy Events will refund 50 percent of payment.

Should the Client wish to cancel this agreement 3 weeks before the event, then the Client shall forfeit the total 100% deposit to Azzy Events.

If the client requires any changes to the agreed design 1 month before event date, there will be additional costs associated with the new design. The paid deposit only covers the material costs for the first agreed setup. Any custom work required, the full amount of that custom work must be paid upfront.

If you have a booking with us and have made a deposit or full payment but then require to cancel due to personal reasons, we will refund you 50% of your full quote amount.

We will keep the 50% deposit to cover admin fees and our time of planning your event (additional fees apply if we have made payments to suppliers or outsource companies for your specific event, if they do not supply refunds in their policy).

If you choose to postpone rather than cancel, we can hold your payments aside for 12 months from the function date.

4. LOSS OR DAMAGES

Should any products become lost, stolen or damaged when in possession of the Client, the Client shall immediately notify Azzy Events. The Client agrees to pay for all products lost, destroyed, stolen, damaged or not returned.

All costs paid to Azzy Events based on the current pricing and availability of the products on the market. Should no equal product be found by Azzy Events then, the Client shall reimburse the Hirer the cost in bank transfer at the cost decided by the Hirer. All reimbursements shall be paid within 7 days of the return due date.

Azzy Events ask that all props are not moved once delivered and setup. Any damages incurred due to moving the props will come under loss and damages.

We ask that the Client does NOT clean any of the products as any damage sustained to the products due to cleaning shall be deemed according to the above Loss or Damaged section.

5. HIRE PERIOD

For all products hired out to the client the hire period is set out as follows;

Client pickup: Shall occur on an agreed day (by appointment) at an agreed time. Should agreement if delivery be agreed upon by Azzy Events, then the hire period shall begin at the time of delivery, at the location agreed by  both the Client and Azzy Events.

Should the Client fail to return the products within the allocated time frame the Client will incur a late fee/extension fee.

When Azzy Events return to pick up the hired products at the agreed time and the event has not finished on arrival you will incur a $80 per hr waiting fee. (Min 1 hour fee is payable).

6. LATE FEE/EXTENSION FEE

A 10% of the hiring cost for every day the products have not returned. This sum will be deducted from the bond received by Azzy Events.

7. OUTDOOR EVENTS

If you are planning your event outdoors, please have a plan B in mind due to weather conditions such as rain. Azzy Events will not offer a refund on the date of your event due to weather conditions, except for extreme circumstances.

By paying for your deposit you have read, understood and accepted all of the Terms and Conditions set out by Azzy Events.
